Legal Use Agreement

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using any services provided by ArRENCE AI ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Legal Use Agreement. By using ArRENCE AI, you agree to comply with all applicable laws in connection with your use of the Service.

The ArRENCE AI platform is a remote service. When you use the Service, your queries are transmitted to Webb Local AI private servers operated by Webb Local AI LLC for AI processing. Your conversation history is never stored on our servers — it resides exclusively on your own device. This agreement governs your lawful use of that remote service.

2. Service Architecture and Data Practices

ArRENCE AI is committed to transparency about how the Service operates and how your data is handled. The following terms reflect the actual architecture of the platform:

Processing location. All AI inference is performed exclusively on Webb Local AI private servers operated by Webb Local AI LLC. Your queries are never routed to third-party AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any equivalent service.
No conversation retention. Conversation content is not saved, logged, or stored on our servers at any point. Your chat history exists solely on your own device. We have no access to your past conversations.
User-directed storage only. The only data stored on our servers on your behalf is data you explicitly choose to save — such as notes, tasks, and calendar entries. You may delete this data at any time.
No use of conversation data. We do not use, share, sell, or train AI models on your conversation content under any circumstances.

Full details on data collection, retention periods, and your rights are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of the entire agreement between you and ArRENCE AI.

3. Lawful Use Obligation

You must comply with all local, regional, and national or federal laws applicable in your jurisdiction when using the Service. The Service may not be used for any purpose that is illegal under applicable law. This includes, but is not limited to, laws governing:

Speech and expression
Intellectual property
Privacy
Data protection (including GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent regulations)
Export controls
Computer fraud and abuse

4. Prohibited Uses

The following uses of the Service are strictly prohibited:

Generation of illegal content of any kind
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance; all instances will be reported to the appropriate authorities
Harassment, stalking, or threats against any individual
Fraud, impersonation, or identity theft
Unauthorized computer access, hacking, or cyberattacks
Creation or distribution of malware or ransomware
Weapons of mass destruction planning or synthesis instructions
Drug manufacturing instructions where prohibited by law
Copyright infringement or plagiarism for commercial gain
Defamation or the knowing publication of false information
Any use that violates sanctions or export control laws

This list is not exhaustive. ArRENCE AI reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether any use of the Service constitutes a prohibited use.

5. User Liability

Any violation of applicable law through use of the ArRENCE AI service constitutes a breach of this agreement. Full legal liability for such violations rests exclusively with the user. ArRENCE AI, Webb Local AI LLC, and any affiliated parties, officers, employees, or agents bear no responsibility for unlawful use of the platform. ArRENCE AI and Webb Local AI LLC will cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations related to unlawful use of the Service.

6. Reporting and Cooperation

ArRENCE AI reserves the right to report suspected illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities. ArRENCE AI will cooperate with lawful requests from government agencies, including but not limited to subpoenas, court orders, and other valid legal processes.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ArRENCE AI, Webb Local AI LLC, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of this agreement or any applicable law.

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which ArRENCE AI / Webb Local AI LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Severability

If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

10. Entire Agreement

This Legal Use Agreement, together with the End User License Agreement (EULA) and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and ArRENCE AI regarding the lawful use of the Service. In the event of a conflict between this agreement and any other agreement, the more restrictive provision shall apply.
